Bring in the Present
“I think an analogy of being in the prseent as being tied to an anchor which is set right where you are….but you’re not just looking at the ground where the anchor is, you’re looking all around you… still your’e staying tied the anchor. if there are heavy winds, and you let the rope cut….you float away…you’ll get lost… think of times where you get lost in thought and all of a sudden you get back to the present…try to remember how that feels, in your mind, and body then contrast that with the way it feels when you’re planning something or thinking about the future, but not really lost or caught up….do you notice a difference?”
